Book Packaging

If you've got a great manuscript and you want to publish it yourself, we have the experience to help you get it out there. We take your book from raw manuscript to finished product. That includes evaluation of your manuscript, full edit, cover and interior design, ISBN under our Cinnamon Hill Publishing Company umbrella (or you can provide your own ISBN), finished files to printer, and final proof.

We know the ropes; our team has published more than 25 titles to date. Let us add your book to the list. Whether you’re self-publishing for personal reasons, for a book to supplement your business (as a speaker or for sales purposes), or for a best seller, we’ve got the whole package for you. And you can print one book or a thousand, when you need them, with no inventory sitting around taking up space. We'll give your book a professional look that will put your best foot forward.

We’re big enough to provide all the services you need, and small enough to give your project the special one-on-one attention your project deserves.

Our book packaging service is managed by Janet Musick, former owner of Tigress Press and now publisher and senior editor for Cinnamon Hill Publishing Company. She brings a world of experience to the book packaging part of our business.

If you have any questions about book packaging for your book, please e-mail jmusick@b4deadline.com.

Why self-publish?

Just because you decide to self-publish your book doesn’t mean you couldn’t sell the book to a publisher. There are a number of reasons to publish your book yourself.
  • You have a compelling reason to get the book published in a certain timeframe and don’t want to wait the two plus years it can sometimes take to go the traditional route. Many of the big publishing companies, and some of the smaller independents as well have put a moratorium on purchasing new titles.
  • You have a built-in audience for your book, or want to use it for teaching purposes or workshops. Why not pay the upfront costs for the book, and then you only pay printing and shipping costs. You sell the books for the price you set. The profit is all yours; you don’t have to wait for royalties.
  • You want to be in charge of the process. Even though we edit the book, we won’t change your storyline or your voice. However, as part of the editing process, we will make suggestions for changes if we think they will make your book more marketable.

Bob Irish, Author, Welcome to the Real World:

I am writing to detail the quality of publishing services that I received from Janet Musick. I am a first-time amateur author. When I first met Janet, we started talking about my “book.” At the time it was a pipe dream of mine to become a published author. As Janet and I continued talking, she provided the necessary encouragement for me to let her review my manuscript. Read More...
